Pour la première fois depuis le cinquième film, Les protecteurs de la cité des eaux, Pokémon retourne dans les salles de cinémas des États-Unis.
La chaîne de cinémas Cinedigm vient de publier un communiqué de presse à propos de cette diffusion prochaine. Le 3 et 4 décembre, ce seront ainsi plus de 375 salles de cinéma qui exposeront Pokémon The Movie: White—Victini and Zekrom, ce qui constitue déjà un record à les en croire ! La liste des salles est visible sur le mini-iste crée pour l’occasion.
Reste à voir si le nombre d’entrées sera aussi un record, ce qui encouragerait sans doute une répétition d’une telle opération, notamment dans d’autres pays.

An unprecedented number of digital theaters will offer a special limited engagement theatrical event this holiday season when the newest full-length Pokemon(TM) feature film, Pokemon the Movie: White–Victini and Zekrom, premieres across the U.S. the weekend of December 3-4, 2011. Cinedigm Digital Cinema Corp. announced today that over 375 digital theaters will carry the premiere, providing passionate Pokemon fans with a unique holiday treat. As part of a Pokemon first, Pokemon the Movie: White–Victini and Zekrom is one of two feature-length films debuting in December. At over 350 digital theaters in the lineup, Cinedigm has set a new record for its digital distribution of a children’s special event. Included among the national lineup of theater chains are AMC Theatres, National Amusements, Reading Entertainment, UltraStar Cinemas, Carmike Cinemas, Rave Cinemas, and Studio Movie Grill.
